The Wineseller Charitable
Foundation’s mission is to assist families whose lives are touched by the
tragic death of a baby through early pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or in the
first few months of life.
Our primary purpose is to provide support toward positive resolution of
grief experienced at the time of/or following the death of a baby.
This support is given by providing information, education, and resources
on the needs and rights of bereaved parents and siblings, and to aid in
informing those in the community, including family, friends, employers,
and others of their supportive role.
The Foundation is a non-profit organization, which was started by the
employees of the Classic Wineseller Inc. in memory of Jonathan Whitmire
and is supported totally by donations. Each Wineseller employee donates
$1.00 per shift worked to the Foundation and together they sponsor a
dinner, silent auction and awareness walk each year to raise additional
funds. These donations ensure that local bereaved families receive
information, guidance, and compassion at the time of their baby’s death.
Your donation helps cover the cost of the free resources offered to
bereaved families.
